Recently redone my entire system and downloaded Apple Music files (.m4p) so I was able to play music when not connected to the net. Because library was extensive in size and I wanted to converse space, I moved my entire library to an external drive. In the past, I was able to re-import my entire library including Apple's protected files so I did not have to go back through and readd all of my Apple Music. The library database for Music was corrupted so I had to start fresh. But when I import the entire root folder, the only files that import are my non-protected audio files. Does Apple now prevent importing .m4p files? Any possible workarounds outside of having to go back and manually add all my downloaded tracks the hard way?
