Apple Music Apple Music - multiple devices - no continuing?

I'm switching from Sporify to AM and I'm really annoyed when it comes to continuing of music. In the morning I start the music in the bathroom on a Alexa, afterwards in the bedroom when fitting. Afterward in the car with native AM app, on the work at the Mac. It never continues where it lastly stops. Can this be adjusted? I thought especially such things are an Apple thing within the ecosystem
