So I have one album (Tommee Profitt - Birth of a King Live) that Apple Music seems to completely ignore in terms of populating my Apple Replay stats.

Last November, I played the album constantly and it was my most played album of the month for November in my November replay. But when Apple redesigned Replay from the web-based to the phone-based with iOS 26, that album entirely disappeared from my November 2024 replay stats. Ditto December.

This year, I've been playing the album non-stop again and focussing on certain songs being played more often (from the album itself, not from a playlist) and none of the songs are showing up in my Replay 2025 top 100 songs (the one updated every Sunday), nor my Heavy Rotation Mix playlist.

Any ideas why Apple Music isn't picking up my plays of this album?

So have tried troubleshooting this myself and went down a Google rabbit hole.

I deleted and redownloaded the album. I turned off Lossless and Dolby Atmos and went with "regular" downloads instead (as I read that sometimes the Lossless versions don't get recognized for Replay purposes for some reason).

Based on the fact that none of the songs are being added to my Heavy Rotation Playlist despite being in, um, heavy rotation, that I've been unsuccessful. Will see what my November Replay looks like next week but not optimistic.

So I'm told via someone on Reddit that the reason is that Apple Music does not recognize ANYTHING labelled "Holiday" towards your replay stats.

Which makes sense given the situation I'm in and the album in question being labelled "Holiday."

But, geez, that's absurd to me.
