Apple Music Apple Music on iPhone and 'Droid, need Family Plan? Can use same Apple ID on 'Adriod phone?

Can we use the same Apple ID (email) account on Apple Music app that's on an Android phone? Or do we need to have Apple Music Family Plan?

I guess the crux of the question is whether an Apple ID is needed to use Apple Music on an Android phone? And if two different Apple ID are using the same Apple Music account, then Apple Music Family is needed, correct?

You can have the same Apple ID on an iPhone and android device but only one can play at a time. If you want to use multiple devices at the same time you need a family plan or separate plans for each ID
