I’m using a Series5 Titanium watch and listen to my Apple Music playlist through my AirPods Pro. I do not carry my iPhone on my morning walks (2 hours) so everything is done on my watch. I’ve been doing this daily for many months now. Prior to the Series 5 I used a Series3. There were no problems with music playback on either watch with the AirPods Pro. No stopping, skipping or anything. My AirPods Pro got updated last week with Firmware 2D15 and since then I’ve had the skipping music problem. Sometimes it will just completely stop. I’ve reset watch, removed and reinstalled playlist. I walk the same amount of time, same pace, same route, same music, same Activity app but now I have this issue. It’s not just one little skip either. It sounds as if you are out of range of your watch and the signal is weak. My arms are not that long.
Very frustrating to say the least. Anyone else having this issue?
I think I may have confused people with my use of the word “Skipping”. I meant “cutting out” intermittently. Also I dont‘t have this issue with my phone (11 Max Pro)

UPDATE: I did my walk this morning, same everything and there was no “cutting out” of any kind. The only difference was the weather. I live in Phoenix AZ, so we dont have a lot of storms in the valley here. As the weather warms up we do get the occasional electrical storm (Lightning, thunder, wind but no rain). That was the weather on Sunday when I had the cutting out issue. There was no lightning in the immediate area but surrounding areas of the valley had plenty. Being as the desert is so dry, there is a lot of electrical disturbance in the air during these stormy periods. Just ask satellite TV owners!! Could that atmospheric disturbance have been the cause of the connection between my watch and AirPods being interrupted? I’m not an electrical engineer or weatherman so I’m just guessing here. Oh yeah, today was clear and sunny.
