apple + NEC 343i=itunes phone?

why couldnt apple team up with nec to make an itunes phone, the 343i looks very 'apple-like' (and it comes in black) !

We'll never know why, maybe because motorola and apple have a good relationship from when they used to make chips for apple computers......Anyway its a cool looking phone, looks a damn sight better than the current iTunes phone,
