Hi,
I am a huge consumer of apps, I purchase many apps each year, but I am getting increasingly frustrated with fraudulent apps on the App Store. Apps that claim to do this or that that don't. Sometimes I ignore bad reviews, because in some cases its an operator error, not the app. Buy surely Apple should investigate apps where there is a large number of poor reviews and if the app is not working then it should be pulled from the store.
Also I think all developers should have either a website or working email address so customers can ascertain the apps full function (as some iTunes listings are very ambiguous). From experience, not all apps that have this ability to contact the developer work (or work well), but all the bad apps I have bought don't have a way to contact the developer on their iTunes listing.
Obviously the best solution would be if Apple allowed a trial period for apps, where if the app was not bought after a set number of days (or hours) it ceased to function.
