iPad Air keyboard on the top, iPad Pro keyboard on the bottom. The emoji and symbol switcher buttons are reversed. On my iPad Pro I'm always invoking emojis by mistake now. Anyone know if this is reversed in the 9.2 beta? It's the only thing that really bugs me about my iPad Pro right now. I love the device otherwise. Seems like a simple thing to fix.

Good point, this has also annoyed me. Hopefully fixed in the next update.

It's driving me bonkers. I have no idea why they would've changed it just for iPad Pro.

Tell them here. The more people that send a valid request, the better.

And I thought it was just me... It's a ridiculous design decision. It's still the "wrong" way in the newest 9.2. beta release today.
If it was an intentional decision I don't know what to think. I'm sure it's something I can get used to but they need to be consistent. iPhone is the other way around too.

I think they designed a very specific keyboard for the iPad Pro, which is why it is also unable to be split. Apparently this is a "pro" keyboard.

Fortunately it is also a software keyboard. I just hope they don't take as long as they did for fixing the Shift Key / caps issue on the iOS standard keyboard. Third party keyboards to the rescue?

The onscreen keyboard/typing experience is awful on the IPP if you ask me.

I know they wanted to mimic a "real keyboard", but in practicality it's just too big to use it how we've been using Mini/Air onscreen keyboards...mostly thumbs while physically holding it.

I was wicked accurate and fast with a Mini and am pretty close on the Air. It was a nightmare of reaching, stretching and frustration on the IPP.

So this is why I keep opening up the emojis accidentally! I was blaming it on the larger keyboard, but this makes more sense. Filing a report to them now.
