Apple network issues?

Just tried sending a message using iMessage, but got a failed to send then an option to send as Text Message instead. Tried again and it sent.
Two further texts looked as though they went, but didn't get the "delivered" text underneath the last one.
Two minutes later, they turned yellow with message underneath: "sent as text message'

Anyone else got problems?

Not today, been iMessaging all morning. Only had it go through as an SMS once, on the first day, but smooth ever since. I'm impressed with iMessage so far.

Yeah,, has been fine for me since start and all day today up til now.
Glitch methinks.
