Apple News App - iPad 6

I have an iPad 6 and have updated to IOS 16.1.1 . Everything seems satisfactory, except my Apple News App. It is unstable and will throw me out after a few scrolls of the news. I tried resetting the Network, clearing my cache and cookies, releasing the RAM, and restarting my iPad 6.

Anyone have the same problem?

Problem Solved - NOT
I completely erased my iPad and restored it with an iCloud backup. It resolved my problem for about one day and the situation returned. (Bah Humbug!)

That’s likely due to not having enough RAM.

Shut down/hard reset helps clear the RAM but the issue will likely pop up again after a while.

I have downgraded my iPad back to iOS 15.7.1 to fix my problem.

While you can’t easily revert to iOS 16.1, you still have a chance to downgrade from iOS 16.1.2 to iOS 15. That’s because Apple is still providing updates security updated to users running iOS 15.7.1. Those who want to downgrade an iPhone or iPad must do so using a Mac or PC.

Update: I am now on iPadOS 15.7.2 
