Thought I would share this incase others having same issues.

I have had issues with News + Crashing. Apple Support had me delete and reinstall news and the crashing would go away. But then I would start downloading a bunch of magazines, and it would start crashing again.

So this is what I discovered. Basically the App can't handle a large amount of Magazines being downloaded.

I am going on Vacation for a week, so I downloaded probably 100-120 magazines. I downloaded a few magazines I wanted to "try" and then for a few of my favorites... I downloaded the entire back-catalog available.

I noticed as the # of magazines downloaded increased... the longer it would take for the News+ area to load. Eventually I would cross an invisible threshold where the App could no longer parse through the quantity of magazines and crash.

The only option was to delete the app, which deletes all content downloaded... and start again... downloading less magazines and guessing how close I was to the crash threshold.

So it seems like it is doing some kind of check of each file during page load... instead of just presenting the files downloaded to chose from... and eventually the checking overloads and crashes the application.

Further... since you cannot delete manually... there is nothing you can do remove magazines to stay under the invisible bar. So that is kind of a problem if you are sharing a device in a family and people have different tastes... further it makes it hard to keep track of what you've "Read" since you cannot remove the copy once you are done.

Hopefully in an update that add some better performance for people who download a lot... as well as some basic file management controls.
