Apple News on iPhone but not on Mac?

Breaking news: I've had Apple news on my iPhone for awhile but not on my Mac, yet both are set to the same region? Is there a setting I'm overlooking?

system prefs>icloud>news (sounds like it's checked).

You must go to System Preferences/Language & Region and select United States. It does not work for Italy right now. It will then show up but it will go away as soon as you change your region back to Italy but you can at least try it out!
