Does anyone own one, can they please write on here a helpful in depth review? I am looking to get one for myself (eek), mainly to use on my weekly outdoor runs :)

I would opt for the sports strap (with the circular holes). How do you buy the series 5 strap for the series 6? The series 6 only offer the new ones from what I can tell, and not the S5 ones.

The Nike S6 is identical to the standard aluminium S6 with 4 differences:
1. Straps with the holes - can buy the S6 ones separately at the Apple Store. They are the same as the S5 except different colors
2. Nike watch faces
3. Nike Run Club app
4. Small Nike logo on the back of the watch and a different color box

Given that, check out the reviews for the standard S6 and you will have a good idea of what the watch is capable of. For a review focusing on fitness functionality, check out:

There is no difference between S4, S5, S6, or SE straps. There are all interchangeable. Apple refreshes the strap lineup seasonally (several times a year), typically replacing half the straps with new colors or styles. This season they also introduced two new styles - solo loop and solo braid.
You can only buy a Nike watch with a Nike strap.
But you can always buy pretty much any strap (including Nike straps) individually, as a separate accessory. (There are a few exceptions.)

The only way to get previous discontinued season styles/colors is Amazon, ebay, etc

Regarding Nike vs regular Apple Watch:
I have had both versions, and the only functional difference is that the Nike version has some unique watch faces, which, to be honest, are not a big deal, and not that great IMO.
You can download the Nike Run Club app from the App store (free) to the regular watch, so there is zero difference there.
I would base your decision on which version you best like the looks.
For instance if you like the new blue case, get that instead of Nike watch, which does not come blue.
But if you want a silver or black aluminum case and the Nike strap anyway, then sure, get the Nike watch and you will get a few extra faces.
