I was watching an old episode of the TV show "Sliders" today on the SciFi channel. In it they group lands on a world where creativity is banned. Signs around all say "Think Alike". At the end of the episode one of the main characters admonishes the people to "Think Different". I thought, wow, someone on the writing staff must be an Apple fan.

Or psychic.

Turns out the episode aired on Sept. 17, 1999 (link). Apple didn't launch the Think Different campaign until Sept. 29th (link), 12 days later, and even longer one can assume since the episode was actually written and filmed.

LOL

You added the links yourself, didn't you? Did you read them?

Apple launched its ad 1997 and that Sliders episode aired 1999.
