Apple Numbers Spreadsheet printing issues with Samsung printer

I have a Samsung XR3200NR Laser printer. Whenever I print a spreadsheet from numbers or other Apple apps empty cells are printed with random colour backgrounds. I've tried exporting to PDF then printing but to no avail. I've searched the internet but can't find anyone with any similar issues. Only way I can get around this is by exporting to a JPEG then printing the JPEG.
