After a fiasco with AT&T at 3am, I ordered at 11am ET today from Apple (confirmation email 11:38am). AT&T finally cancelled my pre-order at 4:20pm.

Waiting on a Space Gray 64GB iPhone 6+

Fingers crossed for a sooner surprise but doubtful. Let the waiting begin!

Then this is the thread for me. I ordered silver from Apple when I wanted Space Gray. The order was placed in the wee hours when silver and 7-10 days was the only option.

I finally cancelled that and ordered Space Gray 6+ 128, 3-4 weeks, Oct 13-20.

Let's track it here!

This is also my thread. I did the same exactly thing as you did, but they still haven't reverse back my account.

The order page would not let me select expedited shipping, so I called Apple to have them add it. After 1:20 on hold, the nice rep came on and said that shipping was already expedited, and he could not change it.

I want it NOW!

I'm on an oct 13-20 delivery also. I let the dates slip as as was not going to be here where it arrived. Now I juts learned that my flight out had been cancelled due to the strikes..I could just cry ;-(((((((((((((((

So I finally made it out and back yesterday morning 10/4. My iPhone came early and arrived the night before. So I'm a happy camper and have been playing and configuring it as new all day yesterday ;-)

There's a chance that some stores in my area (NYC) will have inventory before Oct 20. Would it be possible to get one in store and have Apple cancel my online order? Not sure how they would negotiate my upgrade availability or if they could just handle it.

That's a good question. When the Apple rep on the phone cancelled my first order, the eligibility status for the AT&T Next plan was updated within 5 minutes. She said it could take 24 hours and I should call AT&T to have them reset, but that was not the case.
