Hi guys. Im just wondering if there's any difference between the lightning cables of the ipod touch(gen that first introduced ipod touch w colors) and the iphone xs's? Im currently using the ipod touch's lightning cable on my XS. I want to know if there's a difference in terms of charging speed. The reason why i still stick to the old cable because it is still working.

Thanks for answering!

No difference at all in functionality. You must take really good care of your cables for them to last that long!

I have a cable of similar age that's nearly brand new because it was stored as a spare way back when, just started using it in my car. Works perfectly and charges my 11 Pro Max at the full 2 amps. Remember that the first iPads that used lightning came out around that same time and charged at 2 amps also.
