If your state offers a tax holiday this summer, you can buy select Apple products
without paying sales tax.* When shopping online, sales tax will appear during checkout, but you’ll see the correct tax amount on your email order confirmation.

Check your state’s tax holiday.
Different states have different tax holiday periods. Make sure you’re shopping on the right days, and learn which products are eligible.

Alabama
Florida
Georgia
Louisiana
Massachusetts
Missouri
New Mexico
South Carolina

You can of course do business with an online retailer such as MacMall, B&H, Adorama, and Amazon. I found the deals at Adorama with free AppleCare to be very good.

Happy Mac shopping!!!!!!

In Tennesse - computers up to $1,500 are covered. And, with a 9.25 sales tax, that adds up.

Also - any computer even $1 over that $1,500 gets NOTHING - so it forces folks into certain models.
