Apple Online Store iPod Accessory Sale

I hope this hasn't already been posted, but the Apple store (Australian at least) is having a sale on ipod accessories, mainly speakers from non-apple brands (eg. bose). Could this mean anything? Possibly just that they want to feature the iPod boombox more on their site than other brands.
