Apple or AT&T?

So tomorrow I'll be going to wait in line for a new 3Gs, but I've been thinking about whether I should go to the Apple store or to the AT&T store. Now I know the Apple store will have more phones, but wouldn't it also have more people because it is the single Apple store in the city. Whereas there are many AT&T stores and, while having less phones, might also have less people. Which do you think I should go with?
