Somewhat strange question, as it doesn't pertain to me, but those ADC members who already have a Beta copy installed, can they run the disc as an upgrade, or does it require a fresh install?

Just curious how that works....

I'm doing a fresh/clean install and I'd certainly recommend that approach.

Developmental releases have never been upgradeable to the shipping version. This is one reason why you are warned against installing developmental releases on your production hardware.

Thanks for all the replies. I was just curious if the shipping version was considered an upgrade to the Beta seeds.

I heard that the GM would be released on ADC at some point before the 26th. So, is that really the same as the shipping version or just another beta version of it that can't be upgraded ?

Apparently it will be here around or on the 19th...
