Amazing 'Apple OS' concept. Would love to see something like this. And yes please Apple, finally system wide Dark Mode!

Why do people keep wanting to merge macOS and iOS ... I don't want my iMac Pro to be an iPhone. This is a desktop computer we're talking about, it should work and feel like a computer, not a tablet. Don't follow the same path as Microsoft did with Windows 8 / 8.1 - you'll get the same backlash.

I only watch enough of that video to think..... ugh.

This would drive me out of the Mac OS to something else (linux?).
I want a real finder and a real file system.

No thanks!

I think you guys miss the point.

Everything will be as functional as is (real finder & file system of course) but include the iOS apps support that Apple is doing anyway (bringing iOS apps to Mac so devs don't have to code multiple versions).

The concept video is mostly about the UI design & feel.

Which is exactly what I don't want. I want my mac to be separate from iOS. Are there some stock apps from iOS that I would like macOS versions of? Well maybe, activity would be kinda nice. But in general, I really don't care. From a coding perspective, I am not sure how they would get around the whole framework issue, since the frameworks for iOS and macOS are completely separate, and the API calls are even different. Most apps would have to be recoded again for macOS and iOS co-compatibility.

It's just not practical. Also that UI looked hideous, but I do like global dark themes.
