Okay so I have a jailbroken iphone 5. The lock button on the top is completely disabled and I cannot turn it on and off and I have to get a replacement iPhone 5 estimate so I can get the phone replaced using my American Express extended warranty.

With it being out of warranty does it really matter that my iPhone is jailbroken?

I would prefer to keep the phone jailbroken in case my claim is denied from AMEX.

What is the replacement out of warranty cost for IPhone 5 32gb? That is what AMEX will give me.

I think it's increased to $269 now

Well I never got a chance to take it in and AMEX already payed my claim of $313 and they are letting me keep my iPhone 5. I feel dirty thinking about selling the 5 and taking the money and getting a 5s. I really want to keep my JB though.
