Apple Overnight Shipping Question.

So I read somewhere that I would get my computer overnight if they shipped it by 5PM the next day by 3PM. I just got an email that said that my iMac was shipped today. Also in the email it said it would be delivered by the 29th. However on my tracking it says est. delivery by the 30th.

Not sure whats going on but it doesn't really matter. I did pay the extra 30 dollars for overnight though.

Is this normal?

I figured that the 29th seemed kind of early. It seems odd to expect it tomorrow but I'm just wondering if I'm paying for something I'm not getting. I'm kind of bothered that it didn't get shipped on Saturday though.
