I'm fairly new with pages and I was wondering how to make some letters an exponent. For example October 26th. Make the "th" an exponent.

Select "th", Format->Font->Baseline->Superscript, or CMD+Control++

Alternatively search Superscript in the Help search bar :)

That's the third option in Pages > Preferences > Auto-Correction. You can check or uncheck the option whenever you like. Generally, for any of the auto-correction choice to apply, you need to type a space after the characters to be changed.
