I am part of a small computer services and web design company, and though I am a proud Mac user, we don't usually have a whole lot of Mac service requests come our way. However, that seems to be increasing.

Where is a good place to get Mac parts? I had someone call today with a 2000 iMac that has a bad cd-rom drive.

Thanks!

No, just to buy genuine Apple repair parts directly from Apple.

ah, ok. i may have to check out getting certified. there isn't a certified mac technician within 50 miles of here, so it could be beneficial down the road.

however, in the mean time, i found a couple sites: mac-pro.com, allmac.com, macparts.com that all sell parts. are they reputable?
