Just got this MBP and i setup an ID and Password.But whenever i try to download an app.it always asks me for my Password.When i tried to download an app from the app. store i put my Password in and it said it was incorrect.Thanks

Did you setup your AppleID?

Your Apple ID password is not the same as the OS X user password you need to make changes such as installing software. If you've lost track of your OS X password:

  1. Turn off your Mac (choose Apple > Shut Down).
  2. Press the power button while holding down Command-R. The Mac will boot into Recovery mode. ...
  3. Select Disk Utility and press Continue.
  4. Choose Utilities > Terminal.
  5. Enter resetpassword (all one word, lowercase letters) and press Return.

As soon as i got the MBP it downloaded El Capitan.I set up the ID/Pass on that OS.
