So, ApplePay works at Wegmans. Just sharing with the folks that shop there. Tried it this evening and it was simple and quick. I was in the self checkout line but I assume it works on all registers.

Happy shopping!

Yup, works on the regular registers too. Works nice, though they still require a signature for purchases over $50, even through NFC.

oooh good to know about the $50 signature policy. Wonder if they demand that in the self checkout too? I guess its back to Weggos to spend even more money! :D

Works great at Wegmans! I go there weekly and have had no issues.

High quality food and Apple Pay

What more could I ask for?

Agree. Tried it for the first time there on a hope. I kept looking for the NFC symbol but didnt see it. Then the register said "swipe or tap credit card". Tried and viola!

Sorry, I am not sure what you mean. I didn't have to enter a pin but my total was less than $50. Is that what you mean? Pin for totals >$50?

I've tried this at Wegmans at least a dozen times. It only asks for PIN if you tap your phone and select DEBIT. But if you run your card as CREDIT, then no signature/pin (as long as its under $50)

I use my BoA debit card at Wegmans all the time and run it as a credit.

There are many threads on Apple Pay already, at various stores. It works anywhere that has a new terminal, and I'm glad to see more popping up almost daily.

Thankfully, even at places that don't show the contact less symbol at all.

Debit card pin for me as well with Apple Pay at wegmans. Only $30 charge.

Idk why? I'm already authenticating with my fingerprint

I don't get what is so hard for people to understand. If you use it as credit no pin, debit you'll need your pin.
Just like it is when you swipe the card.

Oh I get it, I'm just curious as to why wegmans does that with debit. I've used it at panera bread and the Apple Store as debit and they don't require it
