...Actually it was just for the extra 1m charging cable ($30). HOWEVER if you used apple pay the charge notification should be your first indication of a processing order status change. Good luck!

Same here - the extra charger that I ordered has been charged to my card and is now "preparing for shipment"

That is a good point. I paid with my AMEX, so that will probably be the first thing to notify me it is shipping.

now hopefully don't just get your extra charge cable on 4/24 and your watch on 5/8 that would stink.
I know. But allow me to speculate... The shipping window for the charger has an early date of 4/23 and was charged today. Lets assume it will be delivering on 4/23. We should see charges for the watch itself tomorrow, if it will deliver on 4/24.

It's just the charger. Mine changed also. It does not in any way shape or form indicate that your watch will come Friday. Your watch still may not come until May 8.

This is for charger not watch.

This is for the spare charger. I had to restart my phone, and I got the message that they were awaiting payment. Had to choose alternate payment or re authorize with same token. I'm sure the old token would not have worked, because I had to re add my card to Apple pay.

Everybody is getting excited about their charger cord being charged?!

And saying "It's Happening!"?

WTF?

Yeah, wake us up when watch orders get charged. Jessh!

I got a charge of $49 for the AW Sport AC+ today...

Let's hope this means a Friday delivery! :D

Heads up if you had to re-add the card you used for the Watch to ApplePay after you ordered:

I got a message from Apple saying they couldn't authorize my card. I paid via Apple Pay and had to re-add my card since then. As such, the device account numbers are different and so Apple can't charge my original payment method.

Why did you get charged $30.74 for a $29 cable?

Would be a rather humorous and logistical nightmare scenario if they only charged us $30 for the cable and accidentally shipped the :apple:WATCH by accident.

It's called sales tax.

Sorry from UK here, and tax is included when a price is displayed.

i.e. £25 for a 1m cable, and that £25 includes 20% value additional tax (VAT). They will charge the buyer £25 for the item.

I'll start brainstorming all of the fun things I can do with my spare charger between the 23rd and the 8th...
