I saw that on the news today. Looks like they were pin pointing it to Bank of America customers and the reporter had to call BOA and they said it was Apple's fault and Apple said it was BOA's fault and he had to do a three way call with both just to get his money back.

Whew, good thing I haven't used Apple Pay yet. Logged in two BoA credit cards on Monday though.
