They said that Apple Pay would be available only in the US..but I check and there is NFC in canada and my bank (TD Canada) allows NFC payments for Androids and Blackberry.

So my question is, Will it work if I take a picture of my canadians credit cards like they did on the keynote and will I be able to use Apple Pay? My guess is that they don't since they said only US (which would imply only US banks) but just wanted to make sure since my bank allows NFC.

Thanks in advance

Most Canadian Banks own US subsidiaries so I suspect Apple Pay will quickly become available in Canada. Our two economies are very intermingled.

Cheers

It needs to be explicitly supported, but odds are that it will happen fairly quickly. I know that the biggest payment processor here in the Nordics is already working on getting this enabled.

I believe we do have NFC here and working already. I'm just waiting for the explicit "Canada is supported" statement from Apple.
