With the Prime Minister of India announcing the banning of high denomination notes to attack black money and counterfeit notes along with promoting digital payments and higher tax compliance there is no better time for Apple to be agreesive and push for Apple Pay in India. Many small businesses and vendors are pro-actively adopting digital payments and ordering new POS terminals. apple should push for these to be contactless and Apple Pay compliant. This could be Apple's largest market with the sheer volume of transactions. Be aggressive in India Apple or you will lose it to Google.
