Running a late 2016 MacBook Pro with Touch Bar on 10.14.3. Searched the forum, but couldn't find anything specifically on my issue, so thanks in advance for your help.
Today, out of the blue, while trying to make an Apple Pay purchase on my MacBook I kept getting a "card declined" error. I deleted my card from Apple Pay on the MB, as I couldn't remember if I needed to update to reflect a new card and expiration date.
Anyway, when I try to add the card back, by clicking "Add Card", I immediately get an error message: "Preferences Error, There was an error in Wallet & Apple Pay preferences."
Any ideas? I have no clue what "preferences" it is talking about, since I have no card registered on the MB.
Nothing has changed on MB in months, other than routine software and app updates. Apple Pay has also worked in the past, though I can't remember how long it has been since I used it on the MB.
