Apple Pay problems

Hello!

I seem to be having loads of issues with Apple Pay not working on my watch. Nearly everytime I go to use it it doesn't work. I've got a card added ok and use it on my phone without any issues.

It's a launch sport model with the green sport strap.

I've also reset everything and started again with the same results!

Just wondering if anyone has any other ideas?

Beta version? My test watch has problems but the beta on my phone works fine.

It's not beta, I thought it might be an unofficial strap causing issues but even with a genuine one it doesn't work!

What happens exactly when you try? Are you bringing up the card on the watch screen first by double tapping the button on the side? (or going through wallet?) What part of the watch are you putting against the NFC reader?

I have the exact same problem. Preordered on launch 42mm SS black sports band.

Sometimes it works but so unreliable I just use iPhone now.

Working extremely unreliably is usually an indication of defective NFC induction coil. A number of iPhone owners have had to swap out their iPhones with this specific defect, and the AW wouldn't be any less susceptible to this defect.
