Apple's latest Apple Pay Promo allows Jimmy John's customers who spend $10 or more to redeem a free drink with their purchase using Freaky Fast Rewards and Apple Pay.

Jimmy John's customers can get the deal when they spend at least $10 when ordering ahead in the Jimmy John's app, on the jimmyjohns.com website, or in store, with the free drink available through September 27.

The deal is valid only at participating locations, and the Freaky Fast Rewards program from Jimmy John's is required to place a qualifying order that's paid for with Apple Pay. One reward is available per Freaky Fast Rewards account.

I could give a rip about what the owner does in his free time, but the sandwiches there are just simply not good. Yeah, you're gonna get a sandwich really fast - but it will not be good. Also, you can get on an intercom and tell them to cut the sandwich in half and they won't do it. I have once stopped the girl when she was about to wrap it up and asked her to cut it in half. She ignored me like I was Patrick Swayze in "Ghost". It was my mission to get them to cut a sandwich in half, but then I realized the sandwiches were awful and stopped going. To this day I ate every sandwich I ever got there whole. How do they sleep at night? How good can a sandwich really be when it takes 20 seconds to make? If I was a nascar driver on a pit stop, okay great. But I'm not, slow this thing down and make that thing with some TLC. Then cut it in half. Name one sandwich place where you get a stick of bread in one piece. Pro tip: You can't.

Disregarding all that I rarely if ever want sugar or Chemical sweetener water free or not

The same company debuting a $17,000 watch is offering a free Coke with sandwich purchase. I'm glad they're out of touch on both ends of the spectrum and not just one. Problem is, even a poor person doesn't give a rat's anus about this.
You may want to re-read the article. Apple is not hosting this promo. It's the restaurant that is hosting this promo. It's just a way for the restaurant to let people know they take Apple Pay. It's possible that Apple kicks back it's partners for each time a customer uses Apple Pay, but Apple is no way hosting this.

What you’re saying is definitely not mutually exclusive or even a good example. The Apple Watch Edition ‘debuting‘ at $17,000 was merely marketing hype, but given a promotion for a free drink, insure how you derived to the conclusion that they’re out of touch. Seems a bit dramatic on your part over something so meaningless over a ‘free drink‘.

I wonder why apple is paying for these lame promotions. What a waste of money.

I am curious what Apple got paid for these promotions as well. It's not a good enough deal for it to be mutually beneficial so I assume they paid to advertise to Apple Card customers. What does it cost to advertise to Apple customers?

Politics aside, Jimmy John’s has the absolute worst sandwiches Money can buy. However, they are very consistent with their stale tasting bread, dry meats, well done roast beef (seriously, who does that?) and wilted lettuce.
