Apple Pay (UK) - iOS 8.4

I'm in the UK and Apple Pay launches today. I haven't seen it pop up in Passbook, has anyone else seen it yet? People are seeing it in iOS 9 betas.

Plug your phone in if you haven't already.

Alternatively you can switch region to US, add the card and switch back.

Just paid for McDonalds breakfast with my Apple Watch, using a Natwest card.
No need to change region.

does your card have to be nfc enabled?

HSBC and First direct dropped out of the launch list hours ago. Sorry about that. =(

It has to be 'contactless' I believe.

HSBC have not launched today - they are coming towards end of July
your cards do not have to be contactless - i do not have a contactless card but have added my Santander card - your phone or watch acts as the contactless

This is good news for me can someone try it in Morrison's that is where I mostly use my contactless card

I cannot try it yet waiting for TSB to get with it!

You will need to update iOS. Only then will the option to add a card come up. You won't be able to add your HSBC card until HSBC accept Apple pay.

Got round that by going into Settings - Region and changing from UK to US !

I think it's as you say - until HSBC act I'm now stuck. Their now reported to be saying end of July

You just have to play the waiting game.
I wouldn't recommend changing your region to the US though, not when it is working for the UK region. Your best off updating to iOS 8.4 just for the bug and security updates alone.

Right now I'm on a good stable jail break so I'm hesitant just for  pay.

There's a stable jailbreak for iOS 8.4. Really you should upgrade before 8.4.1 comes out.
