Hey,

I was wondering if anyone in the US has managed to setup apple pay to work from a visa electron card, and therefore can children use Apple Pay ? (Children's bank accounts in the UK generally use visa electron cards because it's online only / funds have to be available and can't be copied and used without card present / no embossed card number).

I think apple pay will support other cards soon and it has confirmed that you can use US card by using apple pay globally.

We only have regular Visa, not Visa Electron- I think the US equivalent to that would be Visa checkout, or online only credit card numbers from the bank, and you can't add that to Apple Pay either., for obvious reasons, it's for online only, not in stores, where you'd primarily use Apple Pay.

Visa electron cards can be used in physical stores to make purchases in the same way that regular debit or credit cards can.

Online authorisation only, not online like the Internet.
