Hey MacRumors,
So I've had my Apple Pencil since the early days and it's been working fine up until now. I've tried connecting it to my iPad Pro by plugging it in and I do get the screen that asks me if I want to pair and I select Pair, unfortunately what happens is it goes to connected for like a milli-second before it disconnects, I've tried restarting the iPad, I've left the Apple Pencil in the iPad Pro Lightning port for a little bit, I've even Reformatted the iPad but no luck, I'm starting to think my Apple Pencil is permanently dead. I did not use it for a couple months so I'm hoping it just needs to be charged for a while and it should work again but I don't know why it asks if I want to pair then drops off. Anyone else having this issue, been able to resolve it without having to get a replacement Pencil/Buy a new one? I'm close to having to buy a new Apple Pencil if it doesn't work but I'm going to leave it charging in the lightning port for 2 hours and see if that does anything. Any advice is appreciated.
Thanks!
