Apple Pencil in NYC Stores? Any tips?

I know there's a ton of topics on this and I apologize for making another one. I have spent the past two weeks visiting the 14th Street Apple Store at 9am - they haven't had any in stock (at least at that time). For those of you that were able to purchase a pencil in NYC what time and what location did you get it?

I am a medical student and really want to start taking notes with this thing!

I saw some in an AT&T store on 5th Avenue recently. And bought one at the Apple store in Grand Central. They are around.

I would check retailers other than Apple - seems most people are having better luck at Best Buy and such. That's where I got mine. Really tough to time it right at an Apple store. At least with BB you can check stock in store and reserve for pickup.

I ordered from Walmart and had it in hand in 4 days, did the same at Best Buy but it took 6-days. You have to keep checking as they only sell what they receive then list them as out of stock. Gook Luck!
