I dropped the Apple Pencil on the tip and broke off the tip trying to replace it. There is a portion still inside as seen in the pic below. Is there a fix for this? I don't have Apple Care?

It may be hard because it is small but you could try getting some krazy glue and a small screw or other solid object and glue it onto the broken tip. Then you can turn it with pliers or maybe just by hand

I actually tried this but to no avail...
I believe iFixit gave it a 1out 10 in reparability.

Is there a protective cap I can buy?
