Does anyone know where I can purchase the Thunderbolt adapter that's boxed with the Apple Pencil?

Thanks in advance!

That's a Lightning adapter, as far as I know they're not sold separately. You may have some luck with Apple over the phone.

Rats. I was hoping to be able to purchase a spare online somewhere. Thank you for replying.

Apple has stated on its support pages that replacement tips will be available to buy separately "in the future".

I would expect they will make replacement adapters and caps available at the same time, too.

Oh man, this thread got my hopes up. I was thinking "OMG, I can use my Thunderbolt SSD on an iPad pro? AWESOME..." Then it turns out to be a lightning adapter. Hopefully  will will have the adapters for purchase soon. If you have apple care, you might be able to get a rep to send you one.

That's just a (crappy, power only, uncertified) Lightning extension cable.

Not 'crappy'. I own one and it's manufactured better than Apple's cables. On the plus side, it keeps the damn pencil from sticking out the bottom of my Pro like a kickstand.

OP wants a female-to-female Lightning coupler as comes with the Pencil.

My bad. Forgot the OP might want to continue using their existing USB to lightning cable.

Thanks for the replies fellas. I guess I'll wait until it becomes available, I'll be extra careful with the one I have. Yup, that's the plan.
