Have an older Apple Pencil. Doesn’t hold a charge. Won’t sync with older or newer iPads. Are the batteries in this replaceable? About 8 years old. Not a pro version.

I would ask in the iPad forum, but short answer is no, the battery is not replaceable. The whole thing is glued together with no way to open it without destroying it. It's time for a new one.
