Apple, please remove SIM tray

Please Apple, don‘t waste so much space for a nano SIM tray. Remove this and add the eSIM chip from the Apple Watch.

I'm sure they would like to but many overseas carriers don't support embedded SIM yet.

For sure this will come in the future to the iPhone. Just need to get all carriers onboard with eSIM.

Along with that, they'll likely remove the lightning port eventually.

If all the carriers in the world bowed down to Apple, Apple would've done it. Apple already use eSIM on recent iPads.

But reality is, dealing with carriers around the world means dealing with regulations for each country. Plus, I still prefer the flexibility of a physical SIM so I can use iPhones in countries where Apple doesn't have actual presence yet.
