I'm having a long-standing issue with the default Podcasts app & Im hoping it's a simple fix that I'm just somehow missing. I've tried other apps & for various reasons, prefer to stay with Apple's app, so I'm not looking for alternate apps.
I would like to be able to listen to all of the podcasts on my phone, in chronological order (oldest first), and have that sync over to my other devices. I've tried setting up a playlist & this works until I add in a podcast that I'm not subscribed to, in which case once I open podcasts on another device, then the iPhone playlist kicks out any non-subscribed podcasts, in which case I need to remember to open the settings and re-select all podcasts.
I've also tried using just using episodes, but that lists them in reverse chronological order, so the oldest podcast is at the bottom. I don't see any way to change that order. It's either sorted by title or Date added, with no further refinement possible.
Any ideas on how to work around that? Thanks in advance,
