Nice updates... but nothing exciting in the presentation apart from the 5K iMac - which really is pricey - but it's aimed at pros.

Jony Ive didn't even wax lyrical with his dulcet tones.

I was hoping for a mac pro update and 4k(5K!?) monitor....

VERY refreshing keynote.

Probably tried a bit too hard to be funny...which to some people probably came acrosss as stupid but I loved it! Keep it up :apple:

I almost never like commercial humor, and I didn't this time either, but the stream was flawless at least. (Of course, it was a more minor and less-trafficked event.)

The big news, long-term, is the Watch OS SDK... and we don't even know what it will entail yet. I'm sure I won't buy an early Apple Watch, but I see it getting really big (eventually replacing phones in some cases) and these early days are interesting.

The item that made me reach for my wallet is the iPad Air 2... but I will control myself and make my Air last me at least another year.

I don't wanna brag about it but I got really excited when I saw my app icon in there. It's my first iPhone app and I made it with Swift :)

That would be fun to see :)

Has anyone realized they are charging you $100 extra for the touch ID and the goldpagne option in thin iPad mini "3"? It's literally the same internally except for these "features". But hey, I guess there's one born every 5 minutes in Apple's case...

I want.... an Apple display to use with the mac mini and pro, the iMac to have thinner bezels, a better looking iphone with a large display but the smallest possible form factor, apple to sell off the beats hardware line, keep beats streaming business independent but integrate their tech for apple radio, the iwatch to have the same beautiful build but a round screen with only minimal capabilities, the mac pro to be a beautiful and seamless component rack system. More from the intersection of liberal arts and tech, and less from the intersection of U2, Beats, Tim Cook, and Jony Ive.

Where is the part they show the video of a guy with British accent in grey T-shirt, sitting with white backdrop at the back, talking about how he shaved 0.x milimeters out of the previous design, so hard to achieve but we did it anyway, unapologetically great, innovative, simple, ALUUUMINIUM, apple is the best, etc., etc.?

"It's been too long" for what? A minor Mac Mini refresh? An iPad update that fits perfectly into their typical frequent release pattern? The iMac refresh? Colbert's ugly mug (I happen to enjoy Colbert's personality, btw)? Underwhelming.

Watched it live on my iPhone with no problems.

Apart from the humour it was a totally lame presentation. Very disappointed by the Mac updates. Apart from the expected annual iPad refresh there was absolutely nothing I will buy.

New design colourful iMac - Nope
Updated Mac Pro - Nope
12" iPad - Nope
Retina MBA - Nope
New design 12" MBA - Nope
New design Mac mini - Nope
High Res Apple display for the Mac Pro - Nope
Any iPod updates - Nope
New AppleTV - Nope
Updated iPad mini - Nope (oh yeah they added Touch ID but that's all - no processor upgrade, etc)

But never mind some Chinese model I've never heard of is wearing the Apple Watch on the front cover of Vogue China so Tim Cook is happy.
