So I just had an interesting chat with a UPS tech support rep, trying to figure out why my iPhone 6 shipment from Apple wasn't linking to my My Choice account, despite the name and address matching. Apparently Apple is shipping some of these using "Expedited Freight Collect", meaning it's sent from China but the shipment is paid for in the US before being redistributed. Using Freight Collect prevents the items from linking with My Choice, and UPS is working with Apple to prevent this from happening in the future. The upshot, however, is that none of the My Choice features will work, including redirecting delivery or finding out the delivery window.
