1: Is the Pro Display XDR crispy at any resolution?
2: Obviously connection between the MP7.1 and this display is via the Thunderbolt 3 Pro Cable (2 m), but my question is: is my basic video card of my MP7.1 sufficient, or I need a better one? I am running "only" my DAW (sometimes videos in it, so no video editing, etc...)
3: Can you recommend a suitable stand for this monitor - not so high as the apple stand is?

1. heck yes
2. It should run just fine, the “XDR Pro Pro Display Pro” (sarcasm intended) was literally made for Mac Pro.
3. I dunno. Apple sells a VESA mount if you have a wall to mount it on, but if you want a stand, I don’t know.

Thanks!

The "only" remaining question is a suitable stand (I mean the stand itself).
I need a stand such that I can lower the Pro Display very low, so it would be let say 1-2 cm from the desk. Any advice/idea is very much welcome.

im using an old amazon basics monitor arm...can get it to low enough to touch the desk. there are probably nicer monitor arms these days, but if you want it to go low, the arm is probably better than a stand.

Question about AppleCare+ for the Pro Display XDR and pro stand. Due to supply chain issues I purchased the display from Best Buy and the stand from Amazon a couple days apart. I was wondering how strict Apple is with the AppleCare+ saying that for the stand to be covered it needs to be purchased at the “same time.” I know the letter of the law says I didn’t, but wondering if anyone has experience with Apple and whether they would allow the stand to be covered as well.
