I was wondering does anyone know if the new Apple pro display works with a macpro trash can 2013? I’ve heard conflicting answers. I do know that it wouldn’t be able to pump out the native 6k resolution and that’s fine. I just want to know if it’ll work at all! Thanks!

Does not sound like it will. It's not on Apple's supported machines list and I don't think you can adapt TB3 to TB2.
Ahhh but check this out. It says it will. Which I don’t understand.

It's an expensive maybe but Apple is allowing longer term returns so maybe give it a shot?
