Apple Pro KB.....space=2?

OK, I have noticed this for like 3 weeks and I am starting to get worried. About once out of 20 times of hitting the space bar on my black apple pro keyboard makes 2 or 3 spaces instead of 1.

Is there anyway to test this or fix it, or should I go buy a pretty new white one?

To be honest, and I hate to say this, but at $29 these things are getting pretty much disposable.
To me, the new KBs are actually more comfortable, and the USB posts better situated.
This would be a very annoying problem. Try taking off the space key and scrubbing the (2) button things (with a toothbrush or summit). Maybe one is sticking from dust/dirt.

PS - You may want to revise your signature it's awfully long!

Haha I don't think I'm holding it down to long. I can type pretty fast and can't imagine i'm spending too long on the space bar. It never happened to me on my old apple pro keyboard. I'll play with the repeat rate!
