Ok, I've always loved the look of the black Apple Pro Mouse:

So, I found a used one to buy at what I think is a good price. But, I've never had one and I wanted to check if it's known to be a good mouse or if it has a bad reputation for quality or defects? Also, I wanted to see if it can have a "right click" like the current Mighty Mouse, by telling which side I am pushing down on?

I'll probably pick it up tomorrow, so any help asap would be great.

Thanks!!

I really like the Pro Mouse. It has always served me well, except for the lack of wheel. No it is one button only, no secondary click.

I have one of these (see sig.)

Problems: short cord, doesn't stay clean long

Also, there is no right click. It is an old-school mechanical 1-button mouse.

It's an okay mouse. Nothing great.

You can adjust the amount of pressure it takes to click it. That's really the only feature. There is *no* right click (other than holding down the 'ctrl' button on the keyboard). There is only one button.

Honestly, a cheap $15 mouse from Microsoft would give you more features.

If you're paying more than $5 for this mouse, then walk away.

$10. Really think I should walk away? The lack of any right click does kind of upset me. Can you squeeze the sides and program that as a right click?

Thanks for the quick responses.

Not a good mouse. Its very eratic, several times a day the cursor will just jump to one of the corners of the screen, that can become very annoying when surfing the web and infuriating when working on something. It doesnt have teflon feet like all new apple mice, so it wont be very easy to move and it builds up with gunk a lot. No scroll wheel, I dont know how people can live without a scroll wheel. Those arent buttonson the side, they dont do anything.

Only buy it if you want to collect it, I doubt you would use it for very long.

Well, I ended up buying it.

Best looking and least responsive mouse I have ever owned. I don't regret it for the price, but time will tell how much I use it. Thanks for all the input!
